The Team

Anton Breitkopf is a member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of MBB. Until 2018, he was Chief Financial Officer and led the finance department at MBB. After studying business administration at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Mr Breitkopf worked in finance and controlling at Daimler-Benz until 1998. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DTS IT AG and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Delignit AG.

Paula Ebner joined the MBB team in March 2022. After successfully completing her training early as a hotel specialist, she worked as a sales assistant in the digitalization department of a medium-sized company. As Office Manager, her focus is on providing administrative support to the team and the Managing Directors. In addition, Ms Ebner has been studying business administration part-time since 2024.

As a native of Münster, I have remained loyal to my hometown and after formative years in Berlin and Bonn, where MBB has its origins, I now live in Münster again with my family. For more than 40 years, I have been managing institutions together with Christof, now as a founder, a shareholder and a member of the MBB Board of Directors. I also represent our company as Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Aumann AG, Delignit AG and DTS IT AG. In Münster, I studied economics and Christian social ethics, which has led me to be active in various charitable roles to this day.

Daniel Hofmann has been joining the MBB SE team as Manager Finance in June 2026. Prior to this, he spent eleven years at EY, where he most recently worked as a Manager in Audit in Berlin. His audit clients came primarily from the Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, and Consumer & Retail sectors. Through his Master's degree in Accounting and Taxation at Mannheim Business School, which he completed alongside his professional career, he gained theoretical knowledge that complemented his practical skills.

Max Kieslich joined the MBB SE team in 2026 as Finance Manager. Prior to this, he spent five years at the teccle group, where he most recently held a senior position overseeing finance and M&A activities and built up in-depth expertise in corporate transactions and management within the IT services market. He gained his initial professional experience in finance and controlling at OBETA, a German Mittelstand. His Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Taxation (FACTS) from the FU Berlin forms the basis of his analytical and practice-oriented approach.

Dr Ralf Meinert has been Manager Finance at MBB since 2009, where he is responsible for supporting the company's financial statements, including those of its subsidiaries. After studying economics at the Free University of Berlin, he initially worked as a research assistant at the European University Viadrina, where he also obtained his doctorate. Before joining MBB SE, he worked for the auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers AG in the International Reporting Group.

Sebastian Meyer has been Operations Manager at MBB SE since 2025. Previously, he was a Managing Consultant at Horváth & Partners, focusing on operational excellence and process optimization. He began his career at Daimler AG, where he gained valuable experience in the automotive industry as a Junior Consultant in the department, while writing his bachelor's thesis. With a master's degree in business engineering and international experience, he brings in-depth expertise and an analytical approach to his projects.

Born in Lippe, I have been living in Berlin with my family since the 1990s, after spending time in Münster and Switzerland. I first came to appreciate Gert-Maria in 1986 during a heated political discussion. In 1995, we founded Nesemeier & Freimuth GmbH, the predecessor of today's MBB. I acquired my professional skills at the universities of Münster and St. Gallen and at an international management consultancy. MBB is my life's work, and leading it gives me great satisfaction and joy. Today, I am the Executive Chairman of MBB, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Friedrich Vorwerk Group SE and a member of the Supervisory Board of DTS IT AG.

Philipp Ottink has been driving the development of MBB SE's subsidiaries as Manager Operations since 2024. Prior to this, he gained extensive experience as a management consultant, first at DB Management Consulting and later as a project manager at Capgemini Invent, where he specialized in industrial companies. His expertise includes project management, operational optimization and process excellence. Mr Ottink successfully completed his studies in industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University.

With his excellent expertise in international group accounting and reporting, Jens Prieser has been enriching the MBB team since 2020. Mr Prieser studied business administration at NORDAKADEMIE in Elmshorn. Positions in the real estate, shipping and logistics industries at internationally active companies allow Mr Prieser to continually provide new impetus for financial reporting.

As an experienced value investor with a strong focus on public capital markets, Julian Scheffler has been responsible for investments at MBB SE since 2022. He brings extensive experience from previous roles, most recently at Peter Möhrle Holding. With a master’s degree in finance & accounting from WHU and international experience in the U.S., Mr Scheffler combines analytical strength with an entrepreneurial approach to develop sustainable investment strategies.

With extensive experience in business process optimization, Jan Schmelter has been Vice President Acquisitions at MBB SE since 2025. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company and Mercedes-Benz AG, where he gained valuable expertise in international projects ranging from production planning to ramp-up management, including in Hungary and Mexico. Complemented by an MBA from Harvard Business School, Mr Schmelter brings a versatile perspective and a solution-oriented approach to interdisciplinary teams.

Torben Teichler is Chief Financial Officer of MBB and in this role is responsible for capital investment, finance and investor relations. He joined MBB in 2018 following the IPO of Aumann AG and was most recently CIO responsible for capital investment and asset allocation at MBB Holding. Prior to that, Mr Teichler worked for six years in investment banking at Hauck & Aufhäuser, where he was involved in various IPOs and capital market transactions in addition to equity analysis. Mr Teichler studied at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management and Bucerius Law School, where he graduated with a Master of Law & Business. Before that, he studied politics at Maastricht University.
