Dr Christof Nesemeier | Executive Chairman
Dr Christof Nesemeier is Executive Chairman (Chairman of the Board and Executive Director) as well as founding shareholder of MBB. He studied economics at the University of Münster, before earning his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). He worked in an international management consultancy until 1996. Dr Christof Nesemeier is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Friedrich Vorwerk Group SE and member of the Supervisory Boards of Delignit AG and Aumann AG.
Gert-Maria Freimuth | Vice Chairman of the Board
Gert-Maria Freimuth is Vice Chairman of the Board and a founding shareholder of MBB. He studied economics and Christian social ethics at the University of Münster. Gert-Maria Freimuth is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Aumann AG, Delignit AG and DTS IT AG.
Dr Peter Niggemann | Member of the Board
Dr Peter Niggemann is member of the Board of MBB and partner at the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Düsseldorf, where he specialises in European and German competition law. After completing a banking apprenticeship at Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale in Münster/Düsseldorf, Dr Niggemann studied law at the University of Cologne and at Georgetown University in Washington D.C..
Anton Breitkopf | Member of the Board
Anton Breitkopf is member of the Board of MBB. Until 2018, he was in charge of MBB's finances as CFO. After studying business administration at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, he worked in the Finance and Controlling division of Daimler-Benz until he joined MBB in 1998. Anton Breitkopf is also the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DTS IT AG and a member of the Supervisory Board of Delignit AG.
Dr Constantin Mang | Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr Constantin Mang is CEO of MBB and responsible for Finance, M&A and Investor Relations. He is part of the MBB team since 2014 and Executive Director since 2018. Before joining MBB, he worked in policy advice at the ifo Institute, a leading European economic think tank. Constantin holds a Phd in economics from the University of Munich and studied business and law in Milan and Hamburg.
Torben Teichler | Chief Investment Officer (CIO)
Torben Teichler is CIO of MBB and primarily responsible for Treasury and Capital Allocation. He has been part of the MBB team since 2018 and previously worked in Investment Banking at Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers. He studied business administration and law at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and Bucerius Law School.
Dr Jakob Ammer | Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Dr Jakob Ammer is COO of MBB and responsible for the development of the subsidiaries. After studying business in London, Paris and Berlin, he completed his doctorate on the topic of family succession at the Witten Institute for Family Business. As consultant at Bain & Company, he advised private equity firms and industrial companies before joining MBB.
Aline Ruppert | Vice President Corporate Finance
Aline Ruppert joined MBB in August 2020. After studying Economics and International Relations in Scottland, she spent more than seven years in various finance roles and divisions of General Electric, including the inhouse consultancy Corporate Audit Staff. In her most recent role at GE, she led the Supply Chain Finance function for a manufacturer of non-destructive testing equipment.
Dr Ralf Meinert | Senior Manager Corporate Finance
After studying political economics at the Free University of Berlin, Dr Ralf Meinert worked as a research associate at the European University Viadrina, where he also earned his doctorate. He worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG in the International Reporting Group until the start of 2009.
Jens Prieser | Manager Group Accounting
Before joining MBB SE in June 2020, Jens Prieser worked in group accounting for international corporations in the real estate, shipping and logistics industry. He studied business administration at NORDAKADEMIE, Elmshorn, and has longtime experience in the field of HGB and IFRS group reporting as well as in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Benedikt von Freyberg | Manager Operations
Benedikt von Freyberg has been part of the MBB team since 2021. After studying mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen, he held various positions at Continental AG. Following a greenfield project in India, he most recently headed up lacquer production in Hanover, where he played a key role in driving forward the topics of process organization and automation.
Oliver Derwisch | Manager Corporate IT
Oliver Derwisch successfully completed his training as a state-certified assistant for computer science at the Siemens Technik Akademie in Munich and then studied computer science at the Freie Universität Berlin. Afterwards he started his master studies in cybersecurity at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam near Berlin. He has been supporting the MBB team in the IT area since 2016.
