Delignit develops, produces and distributes ecological wood-based materials and system solutions – primarily based on beech wood – for a wide range of technical applications. These include cargo area fittings in the automotive sector, industrial and rail vehicle floors, fire protection and sound insulation solutions as well as modular prefabricated components.
As a "high-tech material supplier", Delignit combines traditional raw material expertise with tailor-made, sustainable system solutions. Its strength lies in vertical value creation - from raw materials to finished components - combined with decades of know-how and technical precision, for example for safety-relevant and durable applications.

Background
Delignit AG was acquired in 2003 from the Hausmann and Thelemann families, who founded the company in 1799 as Germany's first plywood factory. The families remain shareholders in the company to this day. Under MBB's leadership, the company went public in 2007 and began to focus on its system solution expertise.
