Friedrich Vorwerk
Friedrich Vorwerk has been a leading partner in the expansion of modern energy infrastructure for over 60 years. The company plans, builds and operates complex systems for the transport and distribution of energy – primarily gas, electricity, hydrogen and district-heating networks and facilities. With a focus on innovation, sustainability and the highest technical quality, Friedrich Vorwerk is making a key contribution to the energy transition and secure energy supply in Europe through increasingly large-scale projects. The company is benefiting from the growing need for investment in Germany's energy infrastructure.
At the end of 2019, Friedrich Vorwerk acquired 100% of the shares in Bohlen & Doyen Bau GmbH and Bohlen & Doyen Service & Anlagentechnik GmbH. Since then, the largest subsidiary has contributed significantly to the growth and strengthening of the group's market position.
In 2021, Friedrich Vorwerk took the plunge and went public, laying the foundation for further extraordinary growth with this IPO, which the company continues to realise with high margins to this day. As a result, Friedrich Vorwerk was included in the SDAX in 2025.
